You will keep in perfect peace
all who trust in You,
all whose thoughts are fixed on You!
Trust in the Lord always,
for the Lord God is the eternal Rock. – Isaiah 26:3-4
This is my brain in this season. It goes 42 different directions and cannot seem to rest. There is a lot going in our world and in the world, and I have let the gratitude get lost somewhere in the middle of that mangled mess between A and B.
Tonight, I needed the reminder that God will provide the peace I need if I will untangle that mess, or not, and just fix my thoughts on Him.
I am grateful for the rain that continues to fall and water the earth.
I am grateful for our new home, grateful for our other home in small town USA that will become someone else’s pride and joy, grateful for new beginnings, and grateful for plenty of projects for Sam.
I am grateful for a sister who pushed me to get back on my bike and let the mangled mess go for about an hour.
I am grateful for the trail right beside our neighborhood to explore in the days to come.
I am grateful for the anticipation of being Ama to 9 for an entire week.
And I am grateful for God’s grace when I fall so short of where I should be.
