I am grateful that I will be able to finally hold my 6th grandchild this week…

…and grateful that I will be able to hug each one of my Texas kids.

I am grateful for the opportunity to attend the Friends Church in Hutchinson yesterday. It was wonderful to hear Shirley shout out “Amen!” and “Hallelujah!” again…and it was good to hug Maxine and listen to Gary’s message.

I am grateful for the privilege of spending a little time with Aunt Estalene, Uncle Floyd, Sheri, and Aunt Drula on Saturday and Sunday.

I am grateful for time spent with my Dad this weekend. Every time I am with him, I am more grateful than ever for my Dad and his example and support.

I am grateful for Dwight today.

I am grateful for answered prayer and blessings undeserved.

I am grateful for anticipation for the week ahead – a trip to Texas and a break from daily reality.

I am grateful for a moderate emotional meltdown I had on Saturday night. I don’t know why really, but I need to be grateful for it and realize that these are rare occurrences in my life now.

I am grateful for Radwan & Nina and their friendship, even though we connect only once every month or so and only at the counter at Dairy Queen.

I am grateful for the privilege of being the benefactor of Floyd and Estalene’s feather bed and Herschel Thornburg painting, complete with a blacklight.
